We're located in the heart of Pike County. Just 1 1/4 Block off the Southeast Corner of the City Square in Pittsfield IL.
Each of our 6 guest rooms are spacious and offer a queen-sized or two twin-sized beds. From the moment you step inside Monroe Street Suites, you will notice our wonderful African decor. Each room is tastefully decorated in its own unique theme, including: Lions, Giraffes, Elephants, Monkeys, Zebras and Big Cats.

The building originally housed Clausen's Photo Engraving Company, built in the 1940s and early 1950s. In 2004 Frank and Julie Kremer renovated this industrial space creating warm, welcoming place to stay, with 6 guest rooms each with a private bath, and a common great room. In 2012 Frank’s daughter Krystal and her husband Rick Musgrove purchased the family business. Rest assured that the principles and values Monroe Street Suites were built upon will be upheld for many years to come.
